Jacqui Clarke BA Hons Fine Art ATC Hornsey College of Arts London.

In the beautiful Bastide of Beaumont du Périgord, Jacqui works in her studio: printmaking, painting and teaching.
The gallery is situated on the high street in the centre of the bastide.
You are welcome to visit the 'gallery-workshop to view her works of hand printed etchings and art works on exhibition throughout the year at L'Ancienne épicerie 40 rue romieu, 24440 it is better to telephone in advance to arrange a time, especially out of season.

Painting in many and varied techiques and processes which are all aligned to her Aquatints, etchings on Copper or zinc also lino cuts or collographs.

A skilled teacher with a life long experience her classes and workshops are both interesting and generous in information. She offers varied and popular print or painting workshops.

Jacqui is a member of the association 'Manifestampe' printmakers in Paris, she is also a founder member of the 'association ASASArts (Association Saint Avit Senieur Arts) . Unesco world site.

Philosophy :

Landscape, nature, life, colour and light are at the centre of all her inspiration.
'A challenge for any artist to create images which convey atmosphere and emotion on a two dimensional surface created by hand'.

Figurative is perhaps the word to describe her style of work. Her fascination with techniques, lines using paint or ink her methods are innovative and explorative, the results are unique.
A love for printmaking is apparent, the design and tone sometimes bold or delicate are completed slowly with much consideration.
